“terrible experience.”
They didn’t treat us like we treated strangers, and when we left they said they couldn’t give us a room because it was closed, which was a terrible experience.
“Not professional”
There was no staff show up for an hour, the place is noisy because it sits on the main road, and that’s all.
The room was very clean, spacious, with a balcony and comfortable beds; breakfast served in the rooftop restaurant was quieter than street level and the road smell didn’t reach as much; the staff were friendly and kind, though still learning and occasionally a bit disorganized. The hotel sits outside the main town, right by a busy road opposite a mosque, so it can be quite noisy with heavy traffic and exhaust fumes, which made us avoid the balcony. The shower water was cold even though there was an instant heater that seemed to not work. In the main town it’s even louder, more crowded, and the beach is quite dirty, but walking in the opposite direction reveals nicer, quieter beaches with a relaxed vibe.
No one was there to greet us, and a man told us the hotel was closed, delaying us by about an hour; later we got a dusty room, and due to our own mistake we stayed there until the next morning—an absolutely terrible experience.
The décor is simple but functional, yet breakfast service was very slow; on some mornings we waited 45 minutes for food.
