The Hampton Inn Potomac Mills Woodbridge features modern rooms with refrigerators, microwaves, and free toiletries. A fitness centre, sun terrace, and free WiFi are available. Located 35 km from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the hotel offers easy access to Huntley Meadows Park, George Washington Masonic National Memorial, and Old Town Waterfront, with a highly rated breakfast and excellent service.

The hotel was conveniently located for the event I was attending, and breakfast was acceptable. I didn’t expect a lot from a Hampton Inn, but I did expect the room not to smell like cigarette smoke, and if a problem like that couldn’t be fixed that day, I expected a room change. That didn’t happen. The odor was noticeable as soon as I opened the door. It was only 5 pm, so I went back to the desk and asked for a switch. But the new system that lets people check in and open doors from their phones made switching rooms impossible, at least at this Hampton Inn. It was a sold‑out night, and even though many guests hadn’t arrived yet, every room was assigned in a way that couldn’t be overridden. With everything in the area sold out, I turned the fan on high, bought my own odor absorbers, and managed. It wasn’t worth the price I paid.

Very clean. Well lit at night. Convenient off of I‑95. Nothing else to mention.

The room was spacious and clean. The pillows were horrible and not comfortable at all.
