The host’s friendliness, the spectacular breakfast, immaculate cleanliness, comfortable beds, and decent shower made the stay enjoyable. The common areas were detailed and well thought out. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the beach and restaurants, a 1‑minute walk to a supermarket, and a 2‑minute walk to two ATMs and more shops. The main downside is the heavy traffic noise from the adjacent main road—everything is audible through thin walls. Some rooms lack air conditioning, though the staff warns you before booking; check carefully. There’s no TV and the views are only of the façade, not the surroundings.

The two‑room layout was spacious, the breakfast prepared by the owner was excellent, and the beach was only about a five‑minute walk away. The owner speaks fluent Italian, which was helpful. However, there was no shower gel or shampoo, and the blackout curtains didn’t block the sunlight.

The breakfast was fine, the location was good, and the beach at Beau Vallon was reachable on foot; a bus stop was right in front of the property. The staff were not welcoming; upon arrival we were asked to pay immediately and after that received no guidance about the area, how to get around, or emergency numbers. The room was small, daily “cleaning” was performed, yet a spiderweb stayed in a corner for four days, the walls were covered in dust, and the towels and bath mat were never changed for four days. The bathroom had a window with a makeshift curtain that let in outside view. Air conditioning was absent, and a dusty fan was provided. The room was damp, preventing clothes from drying (though a communal drying rack was available outside). The window was broken, held together with a bit of tape, and didn’t close properly, allowing unwanted animals and mosquitoes in; insect spray was supplied but not suitable for such a small room. In my opinion, paying €120 per night for all this is unacceptable.
