Hotel O Gest Inn

The pictures on the booking site were wrong, the hotel image was different, the room smelled bad, the bathroom door was broken, the chair in the room was loose and could cause injury, the staff could explain why the photo was old, this was the last time I booked a hotel like this, the rooms were like a bus stop.

The hotel is located in Kota Tinggi town, but it had a bad odor, was not clean, the TV didn't work, and the air‑con couldn't be set.

The room smelled bad, the carpet was dirty and stank, the chair was dusty, the mattress, pillows and sheets had a foul odor like someone who hadn't showered, hair was under the pillow, the cleaner cost RM6 but the room was still stinky, the hotel took RM10 from the deposit after 30 minutes of check‑out, the first and last check‑ins were handled by the same staff and I will never check in again at this hotel, the Bangladeshi workers all smelled like Bangladeshi, every photo on the booking site is unreliable, I didn't take a picture of the room but it was awful, I've never seen a hotel as dirty and stinky in my life.

I didn't like it… it was scary. The parking by the main road was dangerous, I saw all foreign workers and I cancelled because I was scared to stay alone as a woman, there was a bad smell at the main entrance that made me uneasy, it felt like a brothel, I cancelled and didn't get my money back, I shouldn't have booked without reading the rating, it was the worst and too bad.

I was never able to check in because the hotel called me and told me to cancel the booking since the room was supposedly full, even though I had already paid the full amount. When I asked for a refund, the staff ignored me and blamed a system problem, claiming the system wouldn't open the room if a staff member had alerted them to the situation. I’m extremely disappointed with their service and hospitality.
