The breakfast was fantastic: from the coffee served on request to the fried eggs, a variety of pastries, breads, vegetables, sweets, fruit, juices, and sparkling wine—all beautifully presented and delicious. The exterior of the building was neat and well maintained. However, the room’s equipment was worn, the bedding looked like the sample was white but actually wasn’t, and the carpet was threadbare. Spiders were in the corners of the room and the shower, the bathroom window lacked curtains or blinds, and the front door was poorly insulated (the bed was a meter from the door). The neighbors kept waking us every time they opened the door.
