The amenities were only for one person, and the room couldn’t be darkened because light leaked in from the top of the curtains; the reception staff were friendly but the overall service was very poor, with no room service before 7 am, a noisy room from traffic, and push buttons that didn’t work and required me to keep calling reception, who would just say “I’ll check and come back”; there was no ironing facility and I had to wait a long time, while a person brought two shoe shines when I asked for a shower cap and then brought a shaving kit instead of a dental kit, wasting a lot of morning time and preventing me from getting ready for my schedule; even when we ordered tea at 7 am it didn’t arrive for a half‑hour, forcing me to go to the dining hall at 7:30 am for tea; the floor was dirty with leftovers, the area under the tables still had debris, most of the furniture seats looked lifeless and smeared, and I can’t fully express how disappointing it was.

The hotel was clean, well‑located, and my room was awesome, but they don’t accept Amex.
