The place is dead quiet – you can actually hear the birds outside. Nothing else to complain about, just a nice, calm spot to unwind.

The hotel sits right in the middle of everything and the bus and tram stops are just a stone’s throw away. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast – plenty of food, all tasty and enough for every appetite.

The spot is perfect for the Swiss Alps 100 race, with loads of sports areas nearby, but the room itself left a lot to be desired – no air‑conditioning, sweltering in summer, and you have to climb several stairs with your luggage. We arrived to a bare‑bones room, had to make the bed ourselves, found ripped sheets and a floor that wasn’t really clean. The pool also closed early, which was a let‑down.

The rooms are spotless and come with the basics you need, but don’t expect a hairdryer or even a mini‑fridge in the room.
