The hotel is within walking distance of the main tourist areas, and there’s a 7‑Eleven right next door. The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel itself was very quiet and pleasant, so I had a very comfortable stay. There is no elevator, and the lobby and other common areas lack air conditioning, so it can get very hot walking up to the room; however, the air conditioning in the room itself was excellent.

The spot is fantastic, and we snagged a back room so it stayed quiet at night, though the building itself is grand, old, and traditional, which I found a bit odd.

This old‑fashioned hotel is in great shape, with traditional teak flooring and an impressive staircase, and its location right near the entrance to Fishermans Village is very convenient; the staff were professional and friendly.
