The public‑transport links to all the main tourist spots were perfect. Excellent restaurants and shops were just a 2‑minute walk away. The apartment was a beautiful, high‑ceilinged historic Italian building with a modern interior. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would happily recommend it.

The spot is convenient, close to the metro, with a supermarket and other services nearby. The plumbing needs a bit of review, and the apartment wasn’t fully clean; with a small child I had to watch where she put her hands. A pity.

This apartment sits in a very friendly neighborhood in Rome, just steps from Porta San Giovanni and the Church of San Giovana, so you can walk to all the main sights. If you’d rather save your legs, there’s a bus stop right outside the building and a metro station only a 5‑minute walk away. Taranto Street offers plenty of places for every meal of the day and a great selection of supermarkets. The place works well for a family of up to four or five people; it was very clean and tidy. Getting to the apartment by metro was super easy. I totally recommend it! The only downside is that the bathroom has no hangers for bath towels.
