“Great staff and fascilities inflexible management”
The hotel was well maintained, the deluxe cabin on the beach was beautiful, and the staff were super friendly and attentive; we only had two meals and both were excellent. Unfortunately, when we arrived for our 7‑night stay we were told a school group of 69 children and their support staff had booked, and we were the only paying guests; management claimed we were informed on 21 August, but the school said they had booked in February/March while we were overseas. The pool was not always available, dining was noisy, and we were pushed into a corner. Hotel staff were terrific at finding solutions, but management made it difficult, offered little, and tried to pass the problem onto the school. After much discussion we left, and only then did they offer suitable compensation.
