“Excellent location, kind & friendly staff , terrible room”
The hotel is close to St Lucia station and the staff were excellent, letting us store luggage before and after check‑in. The area is great and close to everything. The ground‑floor room with a separate entrance needed updates and had cleanliness issues, showing signs of wear and tear. The living‑room sofa was dirty and smelled like sweat; I’m not sure if the covers were ever cleaned. We stayed only one night and somehow got through it. The AC/cooler didn’t work well and was noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend that room to anyone. The shower cubicle was tiny and mouldy, needing a proper clean. Other rooms might be better. We didn’t want to complain because the staff let us leave our luggage and were friendly and kind. The room we stayed in should never be sold to anyone – there’s no charm in a dirty room. The location, however, is amazing.
