Beach Hut in Arugam Bay sits directly on the shoreline, offering panoramic sea views and immediate beach access. Lush garden paths and an outdoor seating area provide tranquil relaxation. Rooms include private bathrooms, balconies, terraces, and complimentary public‑area Wi‑Fi. The on‑site restaurant serves Chinese, Indian, Italian, seafood, local Asian, and barbecue dishes with halal, vegetarian and vegan options.

A room on the beach, feet in the sand. The comfort in the Spartan room could be better, but it’s well positioned facing the sea.

We lived our way at Beach Hut! The vibe was so chill, relaxing, and pleasant. We stayed in a room with AC, which helped beat the extreme Arugam Bay heat. Manager Karthi was sweet and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist with transport and anything else we needed. The food was great and cheaper than most Arugam restaurants, which was a huge plus. If we ever return to Arugam Bay, we’ll stay at Beach Hut!

The garden was super cozy and the staff were friendly, but the beds and bathroom hygiene were lacking—the water didn’t smell fresh.
