Getting there is tough, but it’s definitely worth it! With a 4×4 you can manage the drive. The food is delicious and the locals are very friendly.

They offer extra activities during your stay like campfires, traditional dance, hiking, etc. The shower was not up to par.

Getting to Die Mbunga Community Tourism Campsite is an adventure in itself, and I'd highly recommend it to thrill-seekers. The road is a wild ride, especially after the recent rain, and I'd say the best way to tackle it is by Boda Boda (motorbike taxi). Our host, Alexander, was super helpful and we enjoyed a great meal of Rolex at the campsite. The location on the mountain is quiet, but unfortunately, the weather was cloudy during our stay so we couldn't take in the views.

This place is a hidden gem, and I'm so glad I took the plunge and stayed here. The staff are absolutely lovely, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a recommendation. The food is top-notch, and the excursion desk is super helpful in planning your adventures. The only downside is that the hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned, but it's part of the charm, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

Mbunga Camp exceeded my expectations in every way. The warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a wonderful stay, and the peaceful surroundings were a perfect antidote to the stresses of everyday life. I loved the flexibility to arrange activities based on my interests, and the hike to the waterfall was a highlight of my trip. The local cultural traditions were also fascinating, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the area.
