The renovation is beautiful, the place is very clean, the views from the window are incredible, the grounds are nice, and the staff are very good.

The location is amazing – tucked in the forest with total quiet and peace, and you can reach downtown Uzhhorod by car in about 10 minutes; the staff were attentive and definitely deserve a thank‑you and a perfect rating. On the downside, the kitchen was the only real flaw: the breakfast selection was very limited and if you arrived a little late you could end up hungry because they’d tell you it was over, and although the restaurant stayed open until 20:30, the food wasn’t very tasty and the menu was sparse; we dined there twice and were disappointed, so we later went to the Lipа restaurant in Uzhhorod where prices were lower, the variety was better and the dishes were incredibly good.

We spent four nights there and the spot was perfect, just a ten‑minute ride into Uzhhorod. The property is charming, complete with a tiny zoo of deer and a forest walk that’s wonderful for strolling. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, so the water stayed cold while the air was still brisk, but there were plenty of lounge chairs around. The gym boasts solid equipment and fresh drinking water is always on tap. Housekeeping emptied the trash, made the bed and supplied extra toilet paper whenever we asked each day. The room was roomy, equipped with a mini‑fridge and bar, tea, a coffee machine, and the internet performed well. The spa includes three sauna types, a warm pool and a salt room, and breakfast was covered – the buffet offered a wide range of seasonal fruits, desserts and drinks, and the restaurant served lunch and dinner. The staff made an effort to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioner gave off a foul sewer smell, likely clogged, and the bathroom sink drained poorly. The spa only had one pool, with no jacuzzi or shallow kids’ pool, and the wardrobe lacked enough hangers.

Everything about the place – the location, service, spa and facilities – was great, and I had no complaints at all.
