A tiny, charming cabin that has everything you need. The kitchen is super well equipped, and everything inside feels very modern, even though the exterior looks old. Kanchan and his wife are both very welcoming; he speaks excellent English and is great for a chat.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Tiny House. From the moment I arrived, I was touched by the kindness and warm welcome of Kan-chan and Tama-chan. The Tiny House is exceptionally clean, peaceful, and incredibly well equipped. Kan-chan seems to think of absolutely everything and is always looking for new ways and new equipment to make his guests’ stay even more comfortable. After a long day of walking, it was such a pleasure to come back to this quiet little house. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I was always happy to return, rest, and enjoy a very good night’s sleep. The bathroom was perfect, and I especially loved the sugi cedar wooden floor. Its natural fragrance was wonderful and made coming back into the house even more pleasant. The absolute peace and quiet of the Tiny House was another highlight. Discovering this town almost by chance was also a genuine and very pleasant surprise. The area is lovely, with beautiful walking paths, many things to discover, and wonderful nature all around. I would like to warmly thank Kan-chan and Tama-chan for their hospitality and kindness. I should also mention that they speak absolutely excellent English, which makes communication very easy. Kan-chan is extremely open‑minded, internationally minded, and culturally aware, so it is very easy to feel comfortable and welcome here. I am very grateful for this stay and would happily come back.

Everything! The outbuilding was kept incredibly clean and comfortable. I was nervous as a solo traveler, but the owner and staff were gentle and made me feel like I was going back to my family home. I’ll definitely come again next year! I also appreciated the popcorn for movie nights 🍿.

It’s a lovely, quiet spot in a town that has plenty of restaurants, a beach, hikes, and more. I first booked 5 nights, then added 4 more because I had such a good time. The host’s hospitality is amazing; I felt completely at home. The host’s fluent English made my stay flawless. The cabin itself is well equipped, clean, cozy, and cooking is great! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it.

It was a very comfortable inn. The owner, Kan‑chan, who is not Japanese‑centric, had a very interesting interaction with our non‑Japanese couple. We were not scolded for breaking a glass while drunk, but we were later scolded for wiping the spilled red wine with a white towel. Sorry. The husband did the wiping; I only spilled it. Also, in the middle of the outbuilding’s wood deck there is a fig tree that gave a wonderful scent. In the morning we were let take the fruit that had fallen from the tree, and it was very tasty.
