Wayanad Silverwoods Forest Resort & Spa

The property’s location is very nice, surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the dam, and some villas offer an immersive jungle experience, but our overall stay did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expected standards of the property. The breakfast was very disappointing; the food was served cold and the quality was poor. Additionally, the staff appeared over‑pressured and did not seem properly trained, even showing reluctance to serve despite our payment. Regarding the accommodations, we booked four deluxe apartments. In one apartment, the air conditioning was not functioning and we had to manage without it. Furthermore, the condition of some bed sheets was very poor, requiring us to call staff to have them addressed. I hope this feedback is useful for improving the service at this property.

“Pleasant and comfortable”

The rooms had lake views, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Nothing was wrong; everything was good.

“Great stay”

The breakfast spread was solid and the staff were genuinely friendly, making the food taste fantastic even though the hotel was still under renovation. The only downside was the accessibility; a golf cart for those with mobility issues would have helped, especially for me with an ACL tear navigating the steep inclines.

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, the building itself is undergoing a major renovation, which was a bit of a surprise since I didn't know about it when I booked. It's a shame, because the works were a bit of a distraction, and there were even a few instances where the hot water was out of order, which took a while to get sorted. Still, the hotel's charm and the staff's kindness make up for some of its flaws.
