The location was directly opposite the main station, but the electronic entrance door was jammed and couldn’t be opened. I had to get to the airport at 6 am, and there was no staff available to help. I eventually found an unlocked back door and left the building that way after a long search. I missed my train (which is why I chose this hotel for its proximity to the station) and had to take a taxi to catch my flight. The second issue was that the hotel is on the second floor and there was no signage. You have no idea where to go, so you end up carrying your luggage up floor by floor. The elevator only works after a special explanation (you first have to insert a key straight, then at an angle, into a lock). Another older couple had apparently not received that explanation and struggled to bring their bags down this morning while I was still looking for another exit. We ended up sharing a taxi, which turned out to be a very nice acquaintance.

Getting to the location was easy, the staff were very helpful, and the room was clean. One bed was too soft, but the other was really good. Earplugs would have helped with the traffic noise.

The room and location were great, very close to everything in the centre, and buses and trains were easy to catch to other areas. The staff were friendly and the value for money was good. The only downside was that check‑in was confusing. Because it’s a block of apartments we didn’t know we had to go to the second floor for the rooms/check‑in. There was no information about this before we arrived or when we got there.

It’s extremely close to the train station, which was exactly what we were looking for. The street is busy and a bit boring, but that’s the trade‑off when you choose to be so near the station.
