“Not okay”
It looks decent, but don’t expect more. If you need parking, the spots in front of the hotel will likely be taken and you’ll have to find another spot, though that shouldn’t be a problem. The staff were friendly and polite, yet the furnishings are not top‑quality. The building feels old. When we checked in, we opened our room window and discovered it couldn’t close properly. We told the receptionist, who sent someone to fix it. He seemed unskilled but tried. At one point he claimed it was fixed and left, but the window remained open. We called back, and they offered to change our room. We accepted, but the new room had the same window issue. Finally, they moved us to a third room, which was noticeably smaller than the one we had booked. The whole process took about an hour, late in the evening, and we just wanted to sleep. They offered me a cup of tea as compensation; nothing was brought for my husband because he doesn’t drink tea or coffee. I disliked the window problem, especially the time lost. The air‑conditioner light was too bright and shone directly into my eyes all night. I kept waking up from outside noise and the light. There also seemed to be a plumbing issue in the bathroom, with water backing up through the drain, and a bad smell that could be felt even while lying in bed. Breakfast wasn’t fresh; the cherry tomatoes weren’t washed, some cucumbers looked like they were from the previous day, leafy greens were spoiled, and the sliced simit was hard. Variety was limited. The sheets were a little old; I’d recommend replacing them. I don’t think the hotel justifies the nightly price—not that it’s particularly high, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Even though we were only there for one night, it was unpleasant. The only positive was that we had somewhere to stay.
