The hotel felt authentic and the location was excellent. The spa was basic but pleasant, and the area is ideal for cycling adventures. We enjoyed a great dinner at the hotel restaurant, though the town was very quiet and we had trouble finding food on our first night because the hotel restaurant was closed.

The service, cleanliness, and restaurant were good. The ceiling was low and the bed was almost on the floor, which felt a bit unsafe at night, but with care everything was fine.

There was nothing really positive. We had no blanket in the room (it was very cold), no curtains on the window, and no staff at reception – we had to call them to come for check‑in. The restaurant was closed, and when I asked the receptionist, she was very rude and told me to look around town. The hotel was empty, and breakfast was not available in the morning. How can this be rated four stars when the rooms are tiny and miserable? We’re on a 15‑day trip with all hotels booked and have been satisfied everywhere so far, so this hotel is absolutely not up to a decent standard.
