It was comfortable and convenient to the national park. Had a little bit of trouble checking in due to booking through a 3rd party app. At first they could t find it, then they didn’t want to check me in bc they didn’t read my ID correctly and said my name didn’t match (it did) so it was a little scary at first thinking we drove out of state and weren’t going to have a room once we got there. But they were apologetic and got us checked in after showing them the reservation on the Booking app and showing where my information was on my TN ID

Near Mammoth Cave. The bedding had stains, and the pool was heavily chlorinated and cloudy. Our daughter swam a little the first night, but the pool closed the next day because a toddler left a turd in it. It wasn’t the hotel or staff’s fault, but it was still disappointing for a 7‑year‑old. The staff offered a drink or candy to make up for it.

The staff were very helpful and kind, going above and beyond. Our bathroom door was broken and wouldn’t close, and I didn’t appreciate Fox News playing during breakfast; I prefer not to have the news on while eating.

It’s within walking distance of restaurants and the Visitors Center. The lighting could be improved.
