The breakfast was oily.

The staff were friendly and eager to help with any problems, but the linens were dirty and the towels all had color stains; although they said they were washed, they looked very old, so the sheets and towels should be changed more often to keep the place looking fresh and clean.

The property doesn’t match the pictures; it sits in a narrow lane that can be confusing on Google Maps, is surrounded by apartments, and the balcony offers no good view, while the bathing area is tiny. The only bright spots are that Calangute beach is within walking distance and the market area is easy to reach.

The staff were very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, a model for many hotels, and that’s why I gave a 4; unfortunately the hotel needed maintenance and there was an infestation during my stay, the breakfast was weak—though I understand the hotel was empty—and overall it wasn’t a very pleasant experience.

The room size is good for a couple and the hotel is clean, but the services are zero: no cutlery, no table for eating, the hotel doesn’t trust customers, and when I arrived around 1 am with my wife they demanded the pending amount before showing us the room and then moved our luggage to the room—an unexpected and unacceptable staff behaviour; the internet is non‑existent, and I spent all four days complaining about Wi‑Fi until the trip ended, which doesn’t justify the room cost when no services are available, and the staff were drunk on duty, which is unsafe for families.
