Poggio Verde

“A wonderful stay at the Poggio Verde.”

The place and surroundings were beautiful, postcard‑like. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely return when we go back to Tuscany and Umbria. If you want charm, originality, rustic ambiance, not 5‑star luxury, this is the spot for you, as it was for us.

The welcome and cleanliness were spot on, and the complimentary breakfast—though not included—was generous and tasty, featuring local products, even on the savory side. The only downside was the old, poorly maintained bathroom tap fixtures in the showers.

Poggio Verde is a real oasis of relaxation in the Umbrian countryside, just minutes from Lake Trasimeno. The pool is nice and clean, the green spaces are wide, the apartments are equipped for cooking and have air conditioning. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The facility is truly pet friendly.

“Non ci tornerei”

La cortesia della proprietaria. La piscina molto grande. Intanto non è un agriturismo. non danno né pranzo né cena e la colazione è fatta di prodotti industriali a parte una torta fatta in casa. La pulizia è inesistente. l bordi della piscina hanno cacche di piccioni che non vengono puliti da giorni. Non è prevista la pulizia della stanza né un cambio di asciugamani ma non ci sono prodotti per pulire da sé né per l'appartamento né per la cucina. La prima sera abbiamo trovato 3 blatte in bagno dalla seconda sera la caldaia non ha più funzionato quindi la doccia andavamo a farla in altre stanze vuote. Avrebbero dovuto subito cambiarci di stanza. 5 notti sono troppe forse è una struttura più adatta a un weekend. Sembra trascurata trasandata invece ha un sacco di potenziale
