Wonderful stay! A special thank you to the owner, Rita, for her incredible honesty and kindness. We accidentally left our passports in our room when we checked out, and Rita safely kept them for us until we returned the next day. Highly recommend this hotel!. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is a little far from the town itself, so it's worth keeping transportation in mind when planning your stay

The place feels like a portal to another era, surrounded by free animals and majestic tall trees, though tractor noises can be a bit annoying.

At Schloss Campan we stayed in the Bee House with our Golden Retriever and felt right at home as a family of five. The apartments are tastefully and cozily decorated, leaving nothing missing. The real highlight was the grounds surrounding the castle: a beautifully laid‑out garden set amid vast apple orchards. Frau Unterrichter, the host, was warm, straightforward and attentive. It mattered to us that our dog was welcomed just as warmly and felt comfortable. Families with children will also notice that the castle offers far more than lodging – there’s plenty to see, explore and play on the estate. A very handy perk was the air‑conditioned bus to Brixen, which ran regularly right above the property, allowing us to leave the car behind and enjoy the town even with the dog.
