The décor and cleanliness were good, but there was no cooling at all—no fan even though it was an unusually hot season. Breakfast offered only a few baked goods, and the toiletries were a bit sparse.

The location was central, but because it’s a pilgrim spot the breakfast service started too late, or at least didn’t let guests eat on their own.

“Nice hotel but rude and difficult landlady”

We booked three rooms for four people, but only two were available when we arrived, so we had to split a room that nobody wanted. The manager insisted on charging us for three rooms and tried to force us to cancel the booking on the system to get a lower rate, which we couldn’t do because it was too late. After a long argument that involved another Italian‑speaking guest, she finally agreed to change us to two rooms. Breakfast was mediocre. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff were very accommodating, and the breakfasts were superb with many items from their garden. Nothing negative.

“Fabulous family holiday - looking forward to coming back”

The rooms were lovely, very clean and comfortable, blending old‑world charm with modern conveniences. Sissi and Filippo were wonderful hosts—warm, welcoming, and helpful with information. We weren’t fluent in Italian, but we had great conversations using a translation app. Polizzi is a beautiful mountain village.
