Nestled in the Salazar Valley of the Navarran Pyrenees, Hostal Casa Otsoa sits 2 km from Ochagavía and an hour from Pamplona. Rustic, heated rooms feature wooden floors, mountain views, desks, TVs, wardrobes, and private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. Complimentary Wi‑Fi, private bike storage, and nearby cycling routes complement easy access to Selva de Irati (20 min) and Yesa Lake (30 min).

The location was good, and having private parking was a plus. The communication system for your stay conditions was lacking: they inform you via WhatsApp, but it happens on the same day, when it would be better a few days before arrival to avoid misunderstandings.

Great location if you’re heading to the Irati jungle via the Salazar valley. Sara was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was cozy, very comfortable, spacious, and modern. Everything else was fine. Just a small downside: the breakfast area was a bit cramped, and breakfast cost 10 euros with everything you need.

A pleasant stop at this small hotel where we liked the on‑site parking, the friendly reception despite the language barrier, and the comfortable, quiet room. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and you can dine nearby. Nothing really bothered us, but be careful: there’s no elevator if you’re staying on the second floor. The skylights light the room well but don’t offer a view. The strong bleach smell at arrival disappeared after using the bathroom and airing it out. The plumbing was noisy.

I had an unpleasant argument with the person running the hostel, who told me not to stay there and demanded cancellation, so I ended up staying at Ochagavia Hotel Puerta de Irati.
