The staff at Mnarani are truly exceptional, offering warm, authentic hospitality that made the stay relaxing and joyful; the food was superb with plenty of options and the setting is gorgeous, though a bit more shade around the pool would have been nice.

“A true gem in the middle of Kilifi with easy access to the city center and the beautiful beaches within a short walk.”

Everything you could want is on site; Nicholas, the manager, was attentive and extremely friendly, scoring a perfect 10 for emotional intelligence; the rooms were spacious, well‑furnished, and comfy, housekeeping visited daily and was thorough and quick; the beach was ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the pool with its view was amazing—nothing to complain about.

“Magical location in Kilifi with lots of activity options for families with kids”

The spot is fantastic—perfect for families. You can pick the huge pool overlooking the creek, the baby pool in the garden, or the almost‑private beach with its bar and water sports. It’s a magical place. The hotel also offers padel, crazy golf, a gym, a spa, table tennis, and board games. The food felt a little old‑fashioned, and the hotel itself looks somewhat older (except for the newer garden rooms), but the great location and friendly staff more than make up for it.

“Great location for the triathlon. We'll be back next year!”

I stayed in a huge room with great views and the service was excellent, though the food was only OK. The hotel feels a bit old and dated, but it’s not shabby or worn out like many other coastal hotels.
