I spent a night in a shepherd’s caravan that felt like a cozy cocoon, with decent bedding for that kind of lodging. The spot is unique, quiet, and just a few minutes from Nogent‑le‑Rotrou. Nearby you’ll find a kitchen area, showers, toilets, and a pool that shares hours with the gîte residents. Julien, the manager, welcomed me warmly and gave great tips on local sights.
