The welcome from Lahoucine was gorgeous, and the renovation of this family kasbah was done with great taste; it feels like home. The room was stunning, and Lahoucine offered plenty of good advice, narrating the place’s rich history alongside the many surrounding objects. It’s a tiny village near Ait Benhaddou and Telouet, yet away from tourist crowds. The gardens along the oued are worth exploring too. We only stayed one night, but we would have liked to stay longer. A special shout‑out to the cook who delighted us – a real find!

The welcome and Lahoucine’s extreme kindness, the excellent cuisine, the house’s calm, and the vibe and décor of this old house were all great. The house isn’t very easy to reach from the road, and there are a few stairs.

The Kasbah is truly amazing; our room was tastefully decorated and felt very authentic. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional, especially the S’ffa. The hosts were kind, funny, and welcoming, making our short stay a real pleasure. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area—thanks a lot, Lahoussine ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this characterful property. The owner is extremely friendly and arranged a fantastic walk with a local guide that was truly fascinating. If you want to step off the main tourist trail and experience something authentic, this is the place for you!
