“相当糟糕”
When I arrived around noon on the first day, the front desk told me I couldn’t check in until 2 pm unless I paid an extra 3000 AMD, which I did because I was exhausted and didn’t speak the language. Later that afternoon I asked to extend my stay; they said it was possible but quoted a higher rate than on the booking site, so after haggling I secured a large room for 33 000 AMD. Around evening I went out for delivery and the receptionist asked if I wanted to extend again; using Google Translate I said yes if the price was lower, and they added another night for 30 000 AMD. The next day at about 12 pm while I was shopping, a woman called from the hotel and babbled incomprehensibly; I kept saying “wait,” but she wouldn’t let me speak and just repeated “come, come” five times before hanging up. I rushed back, was told I had to change rooms and wait until 2 pm to re‑enter, and after a heated back‑and‑forth I finally moved into a new room. On the third day the same demand to switch rooms came up, and I reluctantly complied. Because the location was decent and I didn’t want more hassle, I extended for two more nights, ending up in yet another new room and staying peacefully for those two days. The night before checkout, after I had successfully booked a room on the booking site, the hotel called again and a woman, again refusing to let me speak, insisted I come down; apparently the online rate was too low for them. I decided to leave the next day. In total I changed rooms four times in a week; on checkout the receptionist grabbed a half‑drunk coffee cup and tried to charge me $50, which I found absurd. The first three rooms were all different types, and none of the cleaning staff ever warned me about the no‑smoking rule, yet at checkout a staff member personally fetched an ashtray and asked why I had one, clearly trying to extract money. Her attitude was extremely hostile, so I urge fellow travelers to avoid this hotel and compare options carefully.
