Exceptional welcome from Alberto and his wife, a fantastic quinta surrounded by an enchanting garden that tells a fascinating family story, a real museum of assorted objects spread across many small spaces to explore. Not to mention a huge breakfast with quality products, a magnificent room with genuine comfort, and Alberto’s helpful advice on must‑see sights and restaurants. No complaints.

“An exceptional property with an exceptional host”

I was blown away by the property—its upkeep is flawless and the surrounding nature is simply stunning, especially the sunsets. Alberto, the host, was meticulous and genuinely caring, treating us like family and making sure every detail was spot‑on. It felt like a holiday at my grandparents’ house. Breakfast was amazing; we could pick fresh fruit and veggies from the garden, relax in hammocks under the trees, and lounge on sun beds. Every day, Alberto’s enthusiasm for welcoming guests and his love of the estate shone through. He could recommend the best places to eat, visit, or explore. The grounds themselves are spectacular: manicured gardens with a wide array of trees and flowers, a natural swimming pool, a vegetable patch, various fruit trees, and peaceful walking paths that create a tranquil atmosphere. There’s also a spacious, well‑organized area for weddings, baptisms, and other celebrations, fully accessible with ramps and a lift for guests with reduced mobility. Our entire stay was fantastic, largely thanks to Alberto’s outstanding hospitality and personal touch. We’re definitely coming back. The property did exceed expectations given its description.

It’s an amazing base for exploring Aveiro, Bussaco, Luso, or just retreating to the farm; breakfasts featured home‑grown fruit, fresh juice, bread and warm croissants, and the shared kitchen—used by at most three other guests—was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom brand‑new, and the gardens were manicured down to the smallest detail, full of furniture and little nooks for relaxing, plus a private forest patch and spring that let you hear water everywhere. Alberto was an excellent host, and there was nothing negative at all—more than a place to stay, it was an experience we’ll remember for a long time.

We loved our stay! It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, quiet, and tranquility of this place. Everything contributed to very pleasant and relaxing days.
