The spot is central and convenient; we’ve stayed here 2‑3 years ago but on the upper floor, now we stayed on the first floor. It’s nice that the lower floor has cats that seem to be cared for. I didn’t like that, although you don’t say it, the price we paid was not cheap and we didn’t have a single-use towel like everywhere else, so we had to buy one because you can’t walk barefoot on a foreign floor. The bed makes a lot of noise; if you want to change sides while sleeping you’re woken by the sound – it’s incredibly annoying and needs to be fixed. Also I’d like better communication because I didn’t get responses to my messages on Booking and there were delays. Otherwise the place and rooms are nice; it just needs a few small changes and it will be great.

The check‑in was super convenient, the room was fine and the location is great—everything’s close by. I wish there had been a TV in the room.

The owners are terrible; they lock a harmless cat in the stairwell, the poor cat was stressed and scared, I don’t know how long it spent there but it was a torment. We got a bad room, paid for a premium room and received a worse one. The apartment itself is a mess: photos and descriptions don’t show the truth – under the bed there were amazing mosaics of dust and sand, not pleasant to see. The bathroom is not good for two people; the shower is only 1 m by 1 m and smells like a train station. The AC doesn’t work. The listing said an espresso machine was available, but there was none. In short, the room is a mess, smells bad, full of small insects, paint flakes off the walls, the window sill falls off from the base, the walls need renovation, there are IKEA plastic chairs, and there was no contact with the owners via Booking – unacceptable.
“Cool place in the city center”
It’s in the city centre, next to Ledra Street and the UN demilitarised zone, everything within walking distance. The rooms were very sunny. Overall, a really cool place. The windows are quite old and on a rainy day the balcony got flooded, so we couldn’t use it after the rain stopped.
