The owner is great and everyone here is friendly; the spot is close to Taksim Square, and a few minutes’ walk across the street from the mosque leads straight to the alley. The place is spotless and quiet, and the owner even let me leave my bag. Even though I didn’t buy a flight ticket in advance, I stayed anyway, and I’ll return to Istanbul and stay here again. Everything nearby is within walking distance and the rates are cheap.

There was nothing to like, so I chose to leave and spend the night at the airport instead. The vibe and location are awful; it feels like a boarding house with residents, not a transit spot. The room looked ripped from a prison series, with jars, pots on the lockers, a rope from bed to bed with clothes hanging. The bathroom was a horror (I didn’t even want to see the shower). They cooked with a camping‑style gas stove. No English speakers, only Arabic staff who used a translator. I literally used it as a rental locker because I’d already paid and then left. I had to go back to retrieve my stuff before heading out.

They’re very friendly, and the location is in a hilly area that made for a pleasant stay. The toilet was just a bit smelly.

понравилось месторасположение, радушие хозяина и особенно то, что номер отапливался - на улице было холодно - но в номере было тепло и горячая батарея, в Турции это редкость. Но хозяин заботится о своих клиентах, поэтому мне было тепло и приятно!!!!
