“Atención inmejorable”

It’s a simple place, not for those who want big luxuries, but the two guys running it are always on hand and ready to help. They prepare a breakfast that lets you try local food, and there’s water, coffee/tea, fruit and cookies available any time. I could leave my backpack after check‑out without any trouble. They give a lot of useful info and tips for exploring George Town, and I’d definitely come back for the friendly service. The paint and décor could use a fresh look; it feels a bit old‑fashioned.

The hosts are adorable, eager to show the island and share local tips and specialties. The cats are welcoming too! It’s an indescribable place, half‑hotel, half‑hostel, where you feel right at home. The only downside is having to leave.

What stood out most was the host’s kindness and generosity. Arthur, known as “the King,” helped us with everything and more. The location is perfect; you can walk to the most interesting spots. They gave us a free breakfast the next morning—tasty and hearty—and even packed the leftovers for us because they knew we had a long trip ahead. In the entrance there’s a table stocked with lotions, earplugs, face masks, and more for guests to share. The kitchen has fruit, noodles, cookies, coffee, and tea for anyone to use whenever they wish. I’ve never seen a hostel this generous—nothing is charged for the smallest thing. The rooms have air conditioning and a comfortable bed. It’s one of the best hostels we’ve ever stayed in.
