The owner was the kindest, sweetest person I’ve met, helped me twice at night, and didn’t leave until everything was to my liking; great value for the price, good location, solid quality. There were a few bugs, but the owner immediately responded, brought spray, and made sure I was taken care of.

The spot is well‑situated, away from the busy road, so it’s relatively quiet; the balcony is nice and the air‑con works well. It could be even better with a little extra polish. First off, there was no top sheet, which is odd. The bathroom has a sewage smell that lingers, though it’s not too bad.

The mattress was comfortable, hot water was available, though the sink only had a cold tap, and the outdoor sitting area was pleasant. The property was filthy and needed a deep clean. An elderly gentleman handled cleaning and maintenance; when we arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned. We told the owner, who sent the elderly man back in to wipe the sink area, but it remained grubby. A thick layer of dust covered everything above eye level. The toilet’s flush drips constantly, and mould is on the ceiling. The place smells damp, lacks a mosquito net, and the bed sheet doesn’t fit the bed. Dust is everywhere. The owner is a pleasant man but clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness, exploiting guests. We’re a couple in our 50s who’ve stayed in dozens of homestays and budget hotels across SE Asia; this is the worst one we’ve experienced. On top of that, there’s a construction site next door. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else that’s clean.

The location is great, very close to the beach and all the activity. Rooms are decent and have the needed facilities. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a booking issue caused by a double‑booking on the platform, but the staff arranged alternate options for us.

Great location, close to the beach and restaurants, and everything else you need. The AC is good and the room stays cool. The only downside is the lack of a top bed sheet or cover.
