The residence was clean, the room was beautifully decorated and as spacious as the photos promised (we had the corner room). The view looked out over the sea and Calabria. The downside was that the room faced a busy two‑lane road along the coast and the side of the room looked onto an outdoor concert hall, making the terrace almost unusable. We watched rehearsals in the afternoon and the concert itself in the evening, but the owner reassured us via message afterward that we wouldn’t be disturbed after midnight—cool! We were hoping for a pleasant end to the day.

I loved the spot, the comfort, the convenience, and the breakfast and terrace—sunset views were great for morning coffee. The only issue was the lack of a kettle for a last‑night or early‑morning cup, and no knives or plates for evening aperitif and antipasti on the terrace.

The room was lovely, spacious, and modern, with everything we needed. It’s a 15‑minute walk to the Ferry Port and a 20‑minute walk to the city centre for restaurants. The host communicated very effectively about first access.
