It should be cold (air conditioning), should be hot (water temperature); food, clothing, accommodation, transportation all convenient; staff friendly and considerate of guests with lots of luggage. The lady responsible for room service is actually very good, service attitude excellent, this should be a plus. But maybe because she also acts as manager, must confirm each guest's stay status, communication causes inconvenience (because not knowing how many days guest stays, guest must remind with receipt; due to poor soundproofing, speaking volume may affect guests). I have stayed many hotels but this is first time encountering this situation, recommend improvement (e.g., front desk and cleaning staff share all guest info, cleaning staff no need to confirm each guest, saving time).

Its near to the station. It’s not sound proof, you may hear the others from outside, and suddenly we didn’t sleep so well because of the noise.

“Disappointing for the price -- I expected more”

The bus from Hsinchu was handy, yet the room was only a few minutes’ walk from the check‑in area and would have been hard to locate at night without the card I got from the hotel next to the building; there was also no staff present at night to help if something went wrong, though luckily nothing happened. The room had a kettle but no tea or coffee.
