ARRIVEL Pension Haus am Bach

“Gut geeignet für einen Zwischenstopp auch mit Hunden!”

We booked a family room with garden view and free parking right at the property; the online check‑in instructions were clear. The room was spacious and had its own garden entrance, with a large bathroom and plenty of space under the shower. We stayed with our dogs for an extra fee and the stay was smooth. Breakfast was neat and the staff were friendly and helpful. The place feels a bit dated but everything works fine; there’s always room for improvement, yet during our stay we found everything satisfactory and usable.

The location is good and picking up the keys was easy, with plenty of parking available. The room, however, smelled extremely like dogs; although it’s a non‑smoking room, there were 5‑6 cigarette butts in the bathroom trash that were never emptied.

Check‑in was easy, the instructions on how to log into the room were clear, breakfast was on site, and it’s very close to the trail. The rooms are spacious with a bathroom.

We’ve been here three times already, and the price feels off for the level of the accommodation.

“Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!”

We’ve stayed here several times, and even after a long break everything remains reliable – the check‑in is hassle‑free and the key safe works for late arrivals. This time we got a roomy room with a balcony, a nice green view, and a quiet yet central location with a small garden. Towels and sheets were clean, the mattress and pillows were good, the décor was pretty, modern, and practical, with blinds and blackout curtains. There were many free parking spots. A staff member welcomed us nicely in the morning, and the price is really good for the region. Highly recommend. My nephew was thrilled with the loft bed. The only minor issues were a few spider webs on walls and ceilings that could be removed, and a wobbling floor lamp that could use a repair – nothing that would make us say it didn’t suit us. The recommendation stays, and the loft bed is great for four‑person families.
