The accommodation was close to Pisa’s central station, the heating worked perfectly, and the lamps were very striking. However, there was dust in many places (the ceiling lamp with cobwebs, dust on the furniture), the blankets in the wardrobe had hair, the wardrobe mirror was streaked, the mattress in room 1 was lowered on the left side, the shower had other people’s shower gel bottles and the water tap and shower head couldn’t be adjusted together. The apartment was noisy (near the airport, and at night until 1 a.m. you could hear people moving on the external stairs). The price was a bit high for a stay of this quality. Despite all that, the host was helpful.

Even though there were no visible problems, we found bed‑bug bites in the morning, which was very upsetting. Please do a thorough cleaning of the room for future guests.

“I would check for better options first”

Nothing much to say; the neighborhood was dark with no streetlights at night, there was a strong chemical odor in the shared toilet that pretended to be clean but the shower was covered in a layer of red moss, and the mattress had been around for 3263 years, full of holes and bumps. In addition to the red moss and the ancient mattress, there was a continuous buzzing sound all night. We also think this might be our fault because we didn’t check it when we made the reservation. Check‑in was not until 17:30 (the owner wanted us there at 18:00) and check‑out was at 10:39, so you pay the same price you would pay elsewhere for a full day but you only get a few hours.

The hotel sits in a good spot and sends a long list of travel tips and recommendations. You can drop off your luggage early through the early‑check‑in at no extra charge, but the shower floods in under a minute because the drain doesn’t work properly. Cleanliness isn’t a strong point, and the mattress is very uncomfortable.
