“Comfortable spacious room, two queens and a doggie bed, fun beautiful common room and hot tub”

Breakfast wasn’t included, but the place was close to the friends I was visiting in Union. The common area was comfy and well‑decorated with a TV, pool table, books, games, and a hot‑tea and coffee service—just a fun shared space to hang out. A hot tub and picnic spots were also available. The room was huge, had room for a pet, and even had a doggie bed; I didn’t bring a pet, but it was a nice option. The downside was that it sat across the street from the Hood Canal, so beach access was rocky and more difficult than if the property were on the water side of the road.

“Cute resort by the highway”

It was close to the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, where we had a reservation for the next day, and a few minutes’ drive to Hoodsport, which has a great brewery and a lovely souvenir shop. The resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The king‑size bed was very bouncy and firm, so you can feel your partner moving around. The location sits on Hwy 101, and with the aluminum windows you can hear traffic—earplugs are recommended!

“Good”

I didn’t have any complaints and slept through the night. The only thing I noticed was that the unit above me was noisy: the first night there was pacing, the second night kids were running. If I stay again, I’ll take the stairs.

“Noisy street ruined the vibe”

The staff were friendly, but carrying luggage up the stairs was a hassle. There was no food on site or nearby, and the street noise was terrible—like New York City. I paid for a room with a view and didn’t expect that level of noise.
