“Good basic Hotel”

I stayed here because it was cheap, and it was okay for the price. However, I wasn't a fan of the no-shoes policy everywhere in the hotel - it was pretty inconvenient.

“Good budget hotel”

This hotel was a great budget option, and I loved that it was close to lots of bus depots, food, and tourist spots. The only downside was that it could get pretty noisy at the front, but that's just the way it is with most hotels in the city.

“Lovely family run hostel”

I loved the hotel's location and the friendly family who ran it, but my room was right by the elevator, which made it a bit noisy when people were coming and going or the cleaning lady was doing her thing.

I was really impressed with the hotel's location - it's right in the heart of the action, but somehow still manages to be super quiet. The room was spotless, and the elevator was a nice touch. The staff were also really friendly, especially the woman who checked me in. However, I was a bit put off by the weird rules - like having to leave my own flip flops outside and wear the hotel's instead, which have probably been worn by thousands of other people and are just left lying around.
