The location is fantastic with great views, the hosts welcomed us warmly and offered plenty of suggestions for exploring the area, the suite of rooms is fabulous, and the breakfasts are exceptional. Nothing could be improved!

A charming B&B tucked into the quiet hills of Christchurch, the hosts are exceptional and we really enjoyed relaxing in their home. Every morning a delicious breakfast was served and we loved chatting and sharing stories with Fukiko. The room and area turned out to be much larger than expected, tidy, cosy and well maintained. The onsen was the cherry on top of this wonderful stay—thanks for arranging that! The only downside is that the house sits up a very steep hill and down a very steep driveway, so you either need to rely on Uber/Taxi, take the bus if your schedule is flexible, or hire a car.

The owners were wonderfully friendly, the space was very large and comfortable. The walk to get there was very scenic, but there are few shops and restaurants nearby, so you should plan your groceries in advance.

Fukiko and Phil were wonderful hosts, a very tasty breakfast was served every morning, the accommodation was very spacious and we felt very, very comfortable.

The facility was super bright, clean and offered lots of privacy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were made to order and quite delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
