“Pousada da Mércia - muito boa!”

The stay was an amazing experience; everyone is very polite, the breakfast is delicious, and the lady who prepares it is absolutely lovely. The inn itself is delightful, especially sipping coffee while enjoying the backyard view! They have a little dog named Theo, and I fell in love with the tiny guardian of the house—hahaha—plus a very affectionate cat. A special thanks to Mércia, who is very helpful and courteous, making all guests feel very comfortable. I hope to return soon!

“Acomodação decepcionante”

The room we were first assigned had AC leaking and flooding the floor, no towels or complete bedding on the single bed, plus a dusty glass table top and moldy mirror. After we complained, we moved to a slightly better room, but it still lacked a mini‑fridge and the cleanliness was still lacking. The smart TV wasn’t connected to the internet, so we couldn’t use it. To enter or leave the inn, someone had to be present to open the electronic gate. Uber drivers who dropped us off at night were nervous, waiting on the deserted street and often couldn’t open the gate quickly. We were greeted with an omelette on Thursday night, which was very kind. However, the breakfast, which was a key factor in choosing the accommodation, was disappointing. The buffet, when it existed, had only two items: watermelon and cake; everything else had to be ordered. The photos in the listing do not match reality and are certainly not up‑to‑date.
