The yurt was gorgeous, with thoughtful furnishings and a creek view.
I slept like a log thanks to the duck‑feather pillow and soft covers.

“Solo 1 night getaway”
The Yurt was very nice, and the location and surrounding nature were exactly what I needed for a short stay. Parking out front is convenient and offers a shortcut to the waterfall. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, the toilet has a flushing system, and there is a small gas shower. A full‑size fridge/freezer is available. No one was there upon arrival, so I received a text from the host for self‑check‑in. The stairs down to the Yurt were a lot for me because of bad knees, and some were uneven. The host has two dogs that jump on you as you enter or exit. Sharing amenities with others wasn’t enjoyable, but it worked. The outdoor kitchen needs a microwave so you can heat food you bring, as there are no options to buy food at night while up the mountain in Springbrook. The power went out at 7:30 pm and didn’t return until 11 pm; the host dropped by an hour later after I messaged her, gave me a battery camp light that lasted about an hour, and said this happens often up there. It got very cold in the Yurt with power out, as I used the provided heater instead of a fireplace because there was no kindling to start it, and you were told to buy it nearby. I found the bed too soft and the pillows too thin for my preference, but I was glad I brought my own.
The host was fantastic, and the location couldn't be better. We had everything we needed in a natural setting, and the evenings by the fireplace were unforgettable. I can't wait to come back.
“Disgraceful”
We liked the creek access, but the stay was a nightmare. The shower had no pressure, the cupboards were a junk pile, and the water was basically dirty rainwater. The heating was awful, the front door wouldn't close, and the owner left us with a leaking roof and roaming dogs.
“Cosy, stunning, peaceful - an experience we will never forget”
The yurt experience was incredible; it was so cozy inside. We spent the night by the indoor fireplace, which was just perfect. The decor inside is stunning, and we wanted to stay forever. Little details like mugs, a kettle, fairy lights, blankets, etc., made it even better. We drove four minutes to Echo Farm for firewood, which cost only $10 and was open 24/7. You can light a fire inside or outside, or both! There is also seating at the bottom of the garden by the creek, which we enjoyed at breakfast the next day. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are great; they match the cozy rainforest vibe of Springbrook National Park and are super clean. Lots of cooking equipment and utensils are provided, and a fridge. We brought our own ingredients (there are no real shops or restaurants on the mountain) and cooked on site, which was easy and fun. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with the treehouse accommodation on site, but that’s no issue since there will only be two other people—still much more privacy than a campsite. The location is perfect, insanely close to Purling Brook Falls, and the accommodation is easy to find. There’s a parking spot outside. The host is super friendly, sent us messages explaining everything we need to know, and made us feel so welcome. We met her upon arrival, she showed us around, which was really helpful, and after that we had privacy and enjoyed the yurt all to ourselves. We truly had an amazing time and loved every second. Thank you for such a memorable stay! Cannot fault this accommodation in any way.
“Great access to the lookouts, Purling Brook Falls Circuit, local cafe. We had a wonderful time”
The yurt had a great vibe, especially when the fire started. Ebony's fire‑lighting tips were spot on, and the place was super quiet. We were in winter, so extra blankets were a lifesaver.
