Great location, clean and lovely, and I appreciated having a couple of tea bags just in case! Beautiful sea view and excellent facilities for DIY living. Thank you!

A lovely old pub with good home‑cooked food—enjoyable, though not especially exciting. Live music was present, but not on the night I was there. It’s clearly popular with locals. The twin villages Kingsand and Cawsand are beautiful. Some of the bar area wasn’t very well lit, so I had to ask both at dinner and breakfast if I could sit somewhere lighter. Driving is quite hazardous because of the very narrow lanes.

I was pleased to find the place right next to everything in Kingsand and Cawsand, and the transport links were convenient, though the side door’s lock was a bit fiddly.

Beautiful quiet village location very close to the sea, just a very short stroll. Quaint Cornish village, full of pretty cottages and amazing sea view. Easy short stroll to Cawsand, the next village. There is a nice café there and you can take a boat ride to Plymouth Barbican if you fancy a day trip. Nice size room with a big bathroom. Our room faced the street. Rooms are above a popular local pub with friendly staff. Big fair‑priced carpark next to the pub. Great location for wedding guests at stunning Polhawn Fort, just a 10‑minute drive away. B&B: some general maintenance and cleaning issues. Communal hallway carpet is stained. Some areas of the hallway and room need decorating. Windows rattle in the wind; the bathroom door won’t close. Some bar noise until 11 pm. Kitchen extractor fan on outside the window 8 am‑9 pm (room 5). Breakfast ok, slow service and only served 9 am‑10 am. Main meals pricey, but to be fair big portions. The village does lack a café. Facilities available out of season: a limited general store, expensive little bakery, 2 pubs and 2 gift shops, one excellent, well‑stocked, the other rather overpriced, although homemade products. Very narrow streets for cars.

The pub was charming with tasty food and friendly staff, but the rooms felt a bit outdated and the breakfast service was poorly organized.
