The location was central in Altenahr, with good bus and train connections. Breakfast was in the neighboring building, about 50 m away, plenty and the staff were very friendly.

“Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage und sehr nette Gastgeber :-)”

The apartment feels brand‑new and is set up with a lot of care. The kitchen is super equipped and there are outlets everywhere (like for plugging a toaster at the table). Our highlight was the winter garden, the sauna and the sports area across the street. Parking is very spacious and the train station and bus stop are right next to it.

“Ein Besuch im Appart-Hotel Lang lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.”

The apartment is modern with a comfortable sofa, nice bed, and spacious bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, which isn’t always the case. Checking in was easy, even though I was a bit skeptical beforehand. We stayed in an apartment that had a balcony and a winter garden—just lovely. Because there is no bakery in Altenahr at the moment, we had to rely on pre‑baked rolls, which wasn’t a big deal but a roll service might be better. Unfortunately, even five years after the flood, damage is still visible; many houses are still not rebuilt or have been torn down, and it will likely take years for Altenahr or the entire Ahr Valley to regain its former glory.

The apartment is beautiful, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is nice, and the bed in the bedroom is wonderful.
