The pool was good, and the room was comfortable and spacious. Nobody was waiting for us when we arrived; the owner was away and the on‑site staff spoke very limited English, so communication was a problem. About 75 % of the menu items were unavailable, so the food was not great. There was no ice, so we couldn’t even make a fruit shake. The Wi‑Fi in the rooms is pitifully bad and only works on the terrace and at ground floor level. The air‑conditioner was noisy, and there was no fan, so nights were too warm.

Nice pool, friendly staff, reasonable food, but we ended up in a room without a private bathroom, so the descriptions on Booking are inaccurate. The room had no storage or hanging space, nowhere to hang towels to dry, no bin, and it was a 15m walk to the toilet/shower, which was shared with another room, a very disappointing standard of accommodation.

We, a German couple, stayed three nights here and felt very well taken care of. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with new furniture and air‑conditioning. The large windows with blinds made the rooms bright and offered an amazing view of the garden and pool. Everything matched the photos exactly. The house is set in a village atmosphere, letting us relax completely. Michel and her team made our stay very pleasant and we felt like part of a big family; everyone was warm and welcoming. Michel and her family also helped us with travel planning and enabled us to visit the surrounding area. For us it was a perfect stay. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and we would come back anytime.
