The manager was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel sits in the Old Town, close to restaurants, bars, and high viewpoints over the city, and the metro is less than a 15‑minute walk away.

There is absolutely no air in the room. The windows never open. You have to keep the doors closed, but cats can still get in. At night you can't sleep with the doors closed.

Suren was a delight—extra courteous, went out of his way with various requests, even brought our luggage to every room, and called for a quick service when we asked. Thanks a lot! The hotel’s location in the heart of the old town is convenient, and the main sights are easily reachable on foot. A coffee bar with excellent coffee is nearby. The staff were very flexible with guests. We stayed twice; the second time we had a room with breakfast, but we declined it on check‑in and were allowed to pay a lower rate. They stored our luggage while we were in Batumi. We booked stays in advance. The first time we had a single room (actually a double with two beds on the first floor) that clearly needed renovation. I used slippers in the shower. Cleanliness was lacking—only towels and a slightly soiled set of linens were clean. In the other double room we were fine. We booked a double with a balcony but received an upgraded room because of overbooking for some reason; the price difference was not applied. That one was really good: clean, recently renovated, and we could sit on the balcony. It was tidy and pleasant, though the mattress springs pressed on the body while sleeping. After returning from Batumi we booked a standard room without a balcony and got one on the first floor next to a not very clean one. The room was too small for three people, and it was hard to move around with luggage. It was a bit cleaner, but we still showered with slippers. I would not book first‑floor rooms unless they were renovated. They lack the cleanliness we expect, and there is a lot of noise between those rooms on the first floor. Breakfast was a disaster. The people who stayed with me were not particularly picky, but they also didn't want to eat that food. The kitchenette was dirty. I expected the breakfast from the pictures. Knowing this, I would not even look at the price. The next day I was shocked by the small cucumber at breakfast. It was unclear where it was bought, how it was grown, or if it was sprayed. The day before, I only ate tomatoes and peppers.
