Set in a historic Heidenheim building, Hotel Linde offers a terrace, on‑site restaurant with special‑diet menus and free Wi‑Fi. Rooms feature private bathrooms, hypoallergenic bedding, tea/coffee makers, work desks, tiled floors, TVs and free toiletries. Free parking, daily housekeeping, and room service are provided. Congress Centrum is a 19‑minute walk; Legoland, Ull Cathedral and winter sports lie within an hour.

I had a decent stay, but there were some issues that kept me from rating it higher.

The owner and staff were friendly, the breakfast and restaurant were good, and the family‑like atmosphere was a plus. The walls were quite thin, and the person next to me watched TV until he fell asleep, sometimes very late, and you could hear everything – that’s the guest’s fault, not the hotel’s. On the other hand, there was no staff available at night, so you couldn’t ask for help in that situation; all you had was to knock on the neighbor’s door.

The food was good and the restaurant staff were nice.

The family‑run hotel offered the best local cuisine, and its location was great for the main customers of the town; it was within walking distance of the train station. Everything, however, felt a bit dated.

The TV program only had public channels; no private channels were available 🤷♂️
