The hotel was lovely, clean, and the shower was impressively large compared to other places I've stayed recently. The bed was comfortable with no dip in the mattress. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to breakfast, which was much appreciated.

I didn’t have breakfast, but it looked very good.

The rooms were nicely furnished and the pub downstairs offered good quality food. Nothing else to note.

We loved staying at the Coach House; Janine (?) made us feel like long‑lost friends and the welcome was huge with endless smiles. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant, slept very well, and the next morning’s breakfast let us choose whatever we wanted. I highly recommend The Coach House as the perfect stopover. The room was a little chilly, but once in bed it was very snug.

The place felt homely and welcoming. It might be helpful to add a few gluten‑free options to the dinner menu.
