The staff were courteous, the spot was lovely with a view of the Cigognola castle across the valley, and there were good walking options and a plentiful breakfast. The road to get there is awful: the last five hundred meters are a steep, bumpy country lane, so having a higher‑clearance car is advisable to avoid mishaps.

The rooms and welcome were excellent, with the owners showing great willingness. The location is off‑center, and the road is not only white but also quite rough.

The place was clean, friendly, and air‑conditioned; they speak English and Italian, everything is spotless, the view is amazing, and dinner reservations were handled for us at the restaurant under the bridge. They don’t allow Hungarian pálinka, and the road to the house is steep, only a seasoned driver in a first‑class vehicle can manage it without a slow, earthy trip.
